Micro Needling, also known as 'Collagen Induction Therapy' is an advanced skin perfecting treatment that improves many skin concerns and conditions such as; ageing, fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, skin texture, stretch marks and some types of scarring.
Collagen induction treatments progressively work to fill in or improve acne scars, chickenpox scars, stretch marks and wrinkles, making them less noticeable and in some cases an overall 90% improvement can be achieved.

How does the treatment work?
The Wireless Tri-M micro needling pen is safe to use on all skin types, effectively treating many skin concerns. The device uses medical grade stainless steel needles that vertically pierce the skin, essentially working down to the dermis, leaving the outer layer of skin, the epidermis, intact. The Wireless Tri-M device uses a powerful motor which allows the needles to move quickly in and out of the skin. This creates micro channels in the skin, stimulating the body’s natural collagen production while also dramatically increasing the bioavailability of topical treatments and further enhancing their absorption. Collagen production is an ongoing process and will continue to improve over the following weeks and months after a treatment, leaving you with noticeably smoother and improved skin.

What areas can be treated?
Micro needling skin treatments are commonly performed on the face, neck and hands. The treatment is also safe and very effective in treating areas on the body with stretch marks. 
 
How many treatments are recommended? 

For optimal results, a course of treatments are required, ranging from four to eight sessions, depending on the area being targeted and your skin concerns. A tailored plan will be discussed with you during your consultation.    

How often can micro needling skin treatments be performed?

Treatments are recommended to be performed at six to eight week intervals. This allows for your skin to heal, rejuvenate and create new collagen.

What is the downtime and are there any side effects?

The Wireless Tri-M micro needling device ensures a speedy recovery, safe treatment with minimal downtime. Immediately following an in-clinic treatment, the skin may appear temporarily reddened, similar to that of a mild to light sunburn. Clients can resume to most of their normal activities almost immediately, but may experience some minor redness for one to two days after. However depending on the intensity of treatment, the skin can remain red and slightly swollen for two to four days post treatment. It is important that you follow the after care advice and use only the recommended skin care recovery products post treatment as well as a sufficient SPF. 

Will the treatment hurt?
Our aim is to always make you feel relaxed and comfortable as possible. Unlike other needling pens, the Wireless Tri-M device due to its

amazing technology does not require numbing. We also offer the Zimmer Cooling System to minimise any discomfort during your treatment.
